Job Qualification Requirements:
• At least three (3) months of verifiable experience working as a barista, preferably in a specialty coffee shop or caf setting.
• Understanding of espresso machines, coffee brewing methods, and the ability to craft quality espresso-based drinks (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos).
• Demonstrated interest in coffee preparation and service, including knowledge of coffee brewing methods and coffee bean types, and to participate in ongoing training related to coffee products, techniques, and industry trends.
• Ability to explain coffee products, brewing methods, and menu items to customers and coworkers as part of regular customer service duties and team collaboration.
• Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to provide service to customers.
• Ability to build rapport with customers.
• Capable of resolving customer inquiries or concerns.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic caf environment.

Wage Information:
• Basic Wage Rate Paid: $8.35 per hour
• Overtime Wage Rate Paid: $12.53 per hour (time and a half) for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week.

Other Material Terms and Conditions of the Job Offer:
Three-Fourths Guarantee: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

· Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, such as drip coffee, espresso-based beverages (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos, americanos), blended drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages.
· Serve food items like soups, baked goods, sandwiches, and snacks to customers, ensuring food quality and presentation are up to standard.

· Monitor and track inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and products to ensure stock is maintained. Proactively notify management when inventory requires replenishment or when stock levels are low.
